What is a twin shaft scrap metal shredder?

This industrial equipment, designed specifically for scrap metal shredding, utilizes a dual-shaft counter-rotating mechanism. High-strength blades shear and tear scrap metal into uniform, small pieces, facilitating subsequent metal recycling and resolving the problem of bulky and difficult-to-handle scrap metal.

What materials can be processed?

Scrap sheet metal: such as discarded steel, iron, and aluminum alloy plates;
Metal profiles: including scrap angle steel, channel steel, steel pipes, and rebar;
Metal products: such as scrap metal components, old metal parts, cans, and metal tins;
Other scrap metal: such as scrap metal mesh, metal scraps, and metal shavings.

Working Principle

Raw Material Input: Scrap metal is placed in the machine’s feed port.
Dual-Shaft Drive: A reducer drives the two shafts to rotate relative to each other, with the cutters on each shaft operating synchronously.
Shearing and Crushing: The cutters engage each other, shearing, tearing, and squeezing the scrap metal to break it down.
Discharge Collection: The crushed metal fragments are discharged from the discharge port, completing the crushing process.
